Being a Libra

A Libra will need space; she’ll need freedom to be who she is in any given moment. She wants to suffer, celebrate, hate and adore who she is. These things are always changing and often conflicting, because she’s constantly discovering new pieces of who she is.

The X Generation

She slides into the car, and even before she buckles her seat belt, her phone is alight in her hands. A 13-year-old girl after a day of eighth grade.

She says hello. Her au pair asks, “Ready to go?”

She doesn’t respond, her thumb on Instagram. A Barbara Walters meme is on the screen. She scrolls, and another meme appears. Then another meme, and she closes the app. She opens BuzzFeed. There’s a story about Florida Gov. Rick Scott, which she scrolls past to get to a story about Janet Jackson, then “28 Things You’ll Understand If You’re Both British and American.” She closes it. She opens Instagram. She opens the NBA app. She shuts the screen off. She turns it back on. She opens Spotify. Opens Fitbit. She has 7,427 steps. Opens Instagram again. Opens Snapchat. She watches a sparkly rainbow flow from her friend’s mouth. She watches a YouTube star make pouty faces at the camera. She watches a tutorial on nail art. She feels the bump of the driveway and looks up. They’re home. Twelve minutes have passed.

5 lucruri interesante despre fotografie

Fotografia este un element care ne insoteste toata viata. Fie ca e fotografie de amatori, pe care o faci in fiecare deplasare si in fiecare moment important, fie ca e fotografie profesionala facuta de un fotograf nunta sau de un fotograf care sa poata sa scoata tot ce e mai bun din fiecare clipa.

Desi fiecare stie ce e o poza, putini stiu cateva lucruri cu adevarat interesante despre fotografie:

• Aparatele de fotografiat sunt facute pentru dreptaci. Desi o buna parte din oameni sunt stangaci, aparatele foto sunt facute doar pentru a fi in folosul dreptacilor. Este adevarat, nu e greu sa apesi pe un buton cu mana dreapta, insa stangacii ar trebui sa se simta ofensati;
•  Prima fotografie a fost realizata in 1826. Responsabilul pentru ea a fost Nicephore Niepche iar poza a fost facuta pe o placa de cositor acoperita cu un derivat din petrol;
•  Cel mai scump aparat foto a fost vandut o camera foarte rara, produsa in 1923 de Leica si a costat nu mai putin de 2.8 milioane de dolari;
• Cea mai mare colectie de aparate foto contine nu mai putin de 4425 de aparate foarte vechi si este detinuta de Dilish Parekh din Mumbai. Va dati seama cat valoreaza acea colectie?
• Astazi, in 2 minute se fac mai multe poze decat s-au facut in toata perioada dintre 1800 si 1900;

Fotografia este asadar un element care ne defineste si care ne pastreaza trecutul aproape, in asa fel incat sa ne bucuram de momentele vechi si frumoase iar si iar.
